Each date will have the same agenda and workshops. When registering please select only 1 date option to attend.

This Institute is open to all Seattle Preschool Program Teachers, Directors, and Administrators.

We are excited to welcome new and returning SPP providers to the 2026 Early Learning Pre-Service Institute!

The morning will include an opportunity to connect with your DEEL staff supports, and a presentation on the Street Data framework. If you are new to the Street Data framework and attending this Institute, we encourage you to check out this article and interview with the authors of the Street Data book: Street Data: A Pathway Toward Equitable, Anti-Racist Schools | Cult of Pedagogy. In the afternoon, you can select a workshop to attend, with topics including ASQ, Health & Safety, Staff Retention, and more.

Detailed information about attending the event, including workshop and presenter information, parking, accessibility, interpretation, and more, will be sent to registrants at the end of July.

 The content for this Institute will be early learning focused, and best suited for SPP teachers, directors, and program staff. CCAP (Child Care Assistance Program) teachers, directors, and program staff, are also welcome to attend.

 Registration closes on Monday, July 20^th.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

STARS hours will be available for attendees.
